What to know in Saudi
Article 109 gives 21 days of paid annual leave a year, rising to 30 days once you complete five consecutive years with the same employer. Leave pay is due in advance, before you go. The law says "days" without settling whether weekends count; some employers count working days, so check how your contract and HR system record it.
Leave you have earned but not taken is paid when the contract ends. The calculator values each day at monthly wage ÷ 30. Reading the law's definition of wage, that is closest to your actual wage with allowances, but no ministry ruling settles it, so compare with your contract. The 2025 amendments also added three days' leave for the death of a brother or sister.
