What to know in Bahrain
Under Articles 54 and 57 of Bahrain's Labour Law, overtime is the hourly wage plus 25% for ordinary extra hours and plus 50% for night hours. The calculator's hourly wage is monthly wage ÷ 30 ÷ your normal daily hours.
Work on the weekly rest day earns the day's wage plus 150%, or a day off in lieu. Keep a record of the extra hours you work each month, since the premium only reaches your payslip if the hours are recorded.
