Wazzifai (from wazifa, the Arabic word for a job) helps people working in the Gulf understand what the law says they are owed, and helps employers pay it correctly.
Who runs Wazzifai
Shahzaib Ali is an SEO specialist and software engineer, and the founder of Wazzifai. He built the calculation engine behind every calculator on this site, turning each Gulf labour law into tested code that shows its working. He researches every rule from the official legal text, writes and maintains the guides, and reviews the calculators whenever a law changes.
Every calculator, guide and article is written and reviewed by Shahzaib, following our editorial policy. The exact formulas are published on our methodology page.

How we work
Every calculator follows the labour law named on its page and links to the article it applies. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. When a law changes, we update the calculator and the guide together.
We write for two readers at once: the worker checking their settlement, often reading in a second language, and the HR team that needs the exact rule. That is why every page exists in both English and Arabic.
