What to know in Oman
Article 78 gives at least 30 days of annual leave a year on full wage, which can be taken once you complete six months of service. Up to 30 unused days may be carried over. The calculator values each day at monthly wage ÷ 30.
Leave earned but not taken is paid when your contract ends, as part of the final settlement alongside any gratuity. Because leave is paid on full wage while gratuity uses basic wage, the two items in your settlement are calculated on different figures.
