What to know in Qatar
Article 79 of Qatar's Labour Law gives three weeks of paid annual leave a year to a worker who has completed one year of service and has less than five years, and four weeks from five years. The calculator shows these as 21 and 28 days. Before one full year, the statute does not give the annual entitlement, so the calculator shows none.
Leave earned but not taken is paid when the contract ends, as part of your end-of-service settlement. The calculator values each day at monthly wage ÷ 30. Your contract or company policy may give more leave than the legal minimum, so use the higher figure if yours does.
